Product overview

GBTECH 500×500×3 mm carbon fiber sheet is a flat T300 composite plate with a matte surface. A square blank for orientation-flexible panel nesting.

The square 500×500 mm format gives equal layout space in both plan directions. A square blank can simplify nesting of parts that need to be rotated during cutting-layout development.

Selecting this format

Use the 3 mm option as a starting point for lightweight covers and square-panel prototypes, subject to design validation.

The nominal blank area is 0.25 m². Plan part nesting, edge allowances and cutting kerf before estimating the number of usable parts.

Machining and assembly

Use tooling and dust control suitable for carbon-fiber composites. Protect nearby electronics from conductive dust, finish cut edges as required, and validate bonded, clamped or fastened connections before use.

Support the plate during machining and review hole edge distances. Electrically isolate carbon from dissimilar metals where the joint environment creates galvanic-corrosion risk.

Temperature-use note

The catalogue lists nominal heat resistance of 150°C. This is not a universal continuous-service temperature: confirm the test method, exposure duration, load and safety margin for the intended duty cycle.
