GBTECH 14×12×1000 mm carbon fiber tube is a round T300 composite member with a 1 mm nominal wall and a matte twill surface appearance. The 1000 mm format supplies one uninterrupted metre for longer members or cut-to-size production. It is useful when the designer needs freedom to establish the final component lengths after a prototype or nesting review.
The 14 mm outside diameter provides a larger connection envelope while retaining a 1 mm nominal wall. The 12 mm internal opening should be reviewed when designing sleeved joints, internal inserts or routing passages.

Choose this length for long continuous components or several shorter pieces, allowing for saw kerf and end finishing.
Potential uses to evaluate include lightweight equipment frames, positioning-rig members, sleeved structural prototypes. These are design directions, not certified load-bearing applications.
Do not equate a larger outside diameter with a guaranteed load rating.
Review local wall stress around sleeved and clamped joints.
Use tooling and dust control suitable for carbon-fiber composites. Protect nearby electronics from conductive dust, finish cut edges as required, and validate bonded, clamped or fastened connections before use.
The catalogue lists nominal heat resistance of 150°C. This is not a universal continuous-service temperature: confirm the test method, exposure duration, load and safety margin for the intended duty cycle.
Fiber orientation, resin, unsupported length and joint details determine suitability. Do not infer a certified strength or stiffness value from diameter alone.
Why select 1000 mm? The one-metre format can be reviewed as cutting stock; calculate usable lengths after allowing for kerf, end trimming and finishing.
How is wall thickness calculated? (14 − 12) ÷ 2 gives 1 mm nominal wall thickness; actual dimensional tolerances require confirmation.
Also available in the same diameter family:
250 mm length
500 mm length
