
GBTECH TORAYCA™ BT70-20 carbon-glass hybrid fabric is a bi-directional woven fabric combining carbon fiber and glass fiber in a checkerboard pattern. The dark squares are carbon fiber, and the light squares are glass fiber. The fabric is lock-stitched with glass fiber yarn along the selvedge. It is typically supplied as dry woven fabric for resin impregnation and structural reinforcement.
The BT70-20 uses T700SC carbon fiber. Its balanced warp and weft carbon fiber areal weight of 100 g/m² makes it suitable for civil engineering and concrete structure reinforcement.
