
GBTECH TORAYCA™ BT70-30 carbon-glass hybrid fabric is a bi-directional woven fabric combining carbon fiber and glass fiber in a checkerboard pattern. The carbon fiber yarns in both warp and weft are T700SC-12000-50C. The fabric is lock-stitched with glass fiber yarn and heat-set with polyamide. It is typically supplied as dry woven fabric for resin impregnation.
The BT70-30 has a higher carbon fiber areal weight than BT70-20, with 150 g/m² in both warp and weft. This makes it suitable for structural reinforcement applications requiring higher carbon fiber content per layer.
