GBTECH TORAYCA™ CO6142 carbon fiber fabric is a woven fabric made from T300 carbon fiber in both warp and weft. The yarn is T300-1000-50A, and the fabric is lock-stitched with glass fiber yarn along the selvedge. It is typically supplied as dry woven fabric for resin impregnation and composite part production.
The 50 m roll format supplies a compact roll for smaller production runs or trial batches. The CO6142 has a carbon fiber areal weight of 119 g/m² and is available in plain weave or twill weave. It is a general-purpose carbon fiber fabric suitable for a wide range of composite applications.

Potential uses include carbon fiber composite part production, model and prototype fabrication, composite panels, and general-purpose composite manufacturing. These are design directions, not certified load-bearing applications.
Carbon fiber is electrically conductive. Use appropriate dust control and personal protection during cutting and handling. Protect nearby electronics from conductive dust.
Confirm resin compatibility, lay-up orientation and cure schedule before production.
What is the difference between plain weave and twill weave?
Plain weave provides a tighter, more stable structure with better dimensional stability. Twill weave offers better drapability and a distinctive diagonal appearance.
What is the role of the glass fiber lock-stitch?
The glass fiber yarn along the selvedge helps prevent fraying and maintains the fabric edge integrity.
What should I confirm before ordering?
Confirm roll length, weave structure, quantity, resin compatibility and delivery country.
